The Annual Miss Miami Lakes USA Pageant will be held March 24, 2013 at the Don Shulaâ€™s Hotel main ballroom in Miami Lakes. All Florida residents are welcome to inquire more info about becoming a contestant or purchase a ticket to come see our amazing show. They are looking for elegant young ladies aged 14 to 26 years old who are well spoken, have great style, and want to make a difference in their community.Â ThereÂ willÂ beÂ both a Teen and Miss division. Winners of the crown will receive the title and prizes, but also they will have a chance to compete live on television on local ABC for the titles of Miss Florida USA and Miss Florida Teen USA. Teen contestants have a chance to win a $40,000 scholarship.Â Contestants inÂ the pageant will be judged in Interview, Fitness Swimwear, and Formal Evening Wear. There is no talent portion and no private interview, butÂ theyÂ will beÂ looking for up-and-coming role models who have great communication skills. For potential contestants new to pageantry,Â there will beÂ a workshop the week before the pageant to go over all necessary details in preparation of the pageant.Â The delegates are responsible for a solid color bikini and long formal gown of their choice. They willÂ also be awarding a Miss Photogenic, Miss Amity, and Miss Peopleâ€™s Choice.
