The annual swashbuckling good time, the Fort Lauderdale Pirate Festival on the New River in Downtown Fort Lauderdale, is sailing back into town! Presented this year by The Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale in partnership with Bobby Rodriguez, producer of the world-renowned Florida Renaissance Festival, along with The City of Fort Lauderdale, Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale, and Yellow Cab of Broward County, the festival takes place on April 20, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Batten down the hatches and prepare to have all hands on deck for a great time!

This extraordinary one-day free event will feature a competitive Pirate Themed Raft Race, Kayak Race, and Paddle Board Race, Live Entertainment, Pirate Encampments, Beer Garden, Food Vendors, Arts & Crafts Vendors, Dunk Tank, LIVE Canon Demonstrations, & a LIVE Mermaid for photos.  Children’s Area with climb aboard Pirate Ship, Black Beard Pirate Shows, Pirate Face Painting, Pirate Ship Bounce & Slide, Climbing Wall, Pony Rides, Games and fun for all ages. Plenty of contests including best dressed pirates of all ages. FREE Admission and Complimentary Raft Registration.
