After much anticipation, the 2013 American Fine Wine Competition Results were announced in Fort Lauderdale at an intimate VIP Party. This private, invitation only event brought together selected media personnel, judges and sponsors as they took pleasure in tasting the great American Wines from last yearâ€™s AFWC along with an array of hors dâ€™oeuvres while awaiting the unveiling of the 2013 AFWC Results.
A total of 632 of Americaâ€™s finest wines were invited to participate in the exclusive American Fine Wine Competition, held atÂ the Florida International University Biscayne Bay Campus onÂ January 20thÂ & 21st, 2013. 24 nationally acclaimed sommeliers cameÂ together for two days to evaluate and judge some of the finest wines produced in the United States. After two days of judging, the prestigious Best Of Show and Best Of Class honors are announced.
