FriendsSaturday, May 4, 10 p.m. – 1 a.m. - Grand Central, 697 North Miami Avenue, Downtown Miami

New World Symphony‘s “Friends of New World Symphony,” a patron group dedicated to fostering the next generation of classical music enthusiasts and supporters, hosted their 25th Anniversary Season-ending party following the NWS’ final performance of the season. The public after party at Grand Central payed homage to the decade in which the organization was founded, and featured a 1980’s theme. The Friends of NWS after party followed the New World Symphony’s performance at the Arsht Center, conducted by Marek Janowski and featuring pianist Orion Weiss in one of the most popular and instantly recognizable classical works, Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony. Drinks for the Friends finale event were courtesy of GREY GOOSE Vodka.
