The Museum of Discovery and Science will host its 2nd Annual Asian-Pacific American Heritage Celebration where you can explore the culture, traditions and history of these countries and their people. Special presentations and demonstrations will take you on a journey to the Pacific islands of Hawaii, Tahiti, New Zealand and Samoa and Asian countries including Japan, Philippines, and China. There will also be special showings of the IMAXÂ® films Ultimate Wave: Tahiti 3D and China: The Panda Adventure. The event is free with museum admission – $19 for adults; $18 for seniors; and $15 children 2 to 12. Hours are Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. Call for IMAX showtimes.
