The Frost Art Museum at FIU will host De-Frost After Hours on the museum’s terrace where you’ll enjoy food and drinks with music provided by Radiate FM DJs. The event is a fundraiser for S.O.S. – Save Our Sculptures, and the first work to be saved will be Ilan Averbuc’s Journey’s End, which was donated to the Frost Art Museum in 1997 and installed on the grounds of the Wertheim Performing Arts Center. Drawing inspiration from New York City, this monumental piece is created from granite taken from demolished city buildings. Your $10 cover charge will help defray costs to restore the art work. Guests must be 21 and over to attend.
