FLASHBACK: Miami 1980s is a multi-media art project/exhibition conceived by freelance photographer, Alexia Fodere in collaboration with The Miami Herald veteran photographers, Donna Natale Planas and Charles Trainor, Jr. Inspired by Fodereâ€™s interest in the lifestyle and culture of Miami in the 1980â€™s, FLASHBACK is a strategically curated exhibition placing archived still images inset into vintage television sets. Featuring over 15 works, the exhibition exemplifies a testament to the final era of film photography, prior to the dramatic shift in technology with the advent of digital processing, and a new way of seeing through the lens.
