November 9 & 10 -Â Historic Virginia Key Beach Park
Friends of Nature Music FestivalÂ (FON FEST), an innovative environmentally conscious festival taking place at theÂ Historic Virginia Key Beach ParkÂ on Key Biscayne, announcedÂ early bird ticket salesÂ beginningÂ on Monday, July 1, 2013.Â FON FESTÂ is also calling all artists, non-profits, vendors, and volunteers for participation. During the weekend of November 9 and 10, Festival attendees have the opportunity to contribute to the memorable first edition weekend. FON FEST welcomes those who would like to participate as the following:
Artists: FON FEST is looking for artists who are interested in displaying their artwork onsite.
Non-Profits:Â FON FEST wants to help non-profit organizations spread their message to festival attendees in a unique, interactive setting. To learn more about how foundations can be involved, as well as how to obtain a booth.Â Organizations which apply before July 5 will be given a special offer to help raise money for their cause.
Vendors:Â FON FEST is currently accepting applications for vendors, food trucks, and food carts. Vendors have the opportunity to sell eco-friendly, organic, and unique crafts at various booth sites during the Festival. Food vendors are encouraged to get creative with their menus, offering vegetarian and healthy options. Volunteers:Â FON FEST is dedicated to reducing their carbon footprint and leaving the Historic Virginia Key Beach Park a healthy environment. The Festival is looking for volunteers to contribute to their mission, supporting the festival staff in a variety of tasks such as keeping the grounds clean to making sure that attendees are safe and in a healthy environment.
