Barefoot Wine, Beach Rescue Project now in its seventh year, helps keep beaches, rivers, parks and lakes across America â€œbarefoot friendly.â€ In 2013, Barefoot Wine and the Surfrider Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protection and enjoyment of the worldâ€™s oceans, waves and beaches, along with community volunteers, are embarking on a tour of 15 cleanups nationwide, stopping in Broward County.Â Volunteers were invited to attend a post-cleanup celebration at Jimbo’s Sandbar, organized by the Surfrider Foundation, featuring surf-inspired fare.
