Guests joined MIAMI Magazine for the 5th annual “To Live & Dine in Miami” and enjoyed bites from 20 of the area’s top restaurants and chefs offering signature menu items. The featured restaurants were invited into the event based on being honored as one of The Finest 50 as chosen by MIAMI Magazine’s Editor-in-Chief Luis Rigual in the July/August issue of the magazine.
The restaurants’ Executive Chefs or owners were manning each station, giving guests not only a taste of the best dishes, but also a chance to interact with the masters behind the morsels. Participating restaurants include: Bourbon Steak, CATCH, Chef Adrianne’s Vineyard Restaurant, db Bistro Moderne, Dolce, Eating House, J&G Grill, Jean-Paul’s House, Khong River House, MC Kitchen, Meat Market, Oak Tavern, Restaurant Michael Schwartz, Shikany, Swine, The Cypress Room, The Dutch, Tongue & Cheek, Wolfgang’s Steakhouse, and Zuma.
In addition to the bites, guests enjoyed complimentary Herradura Tequila, Onli Beverages, and Stella Artois libations from the bar masters at MG Events with recipes provided by some of the top mixologists in South Florida: “Garden Margarita” by Isaac Grillo of Haven, “Miami Margarita” by The Living Room, “Broken Margarita” by Gabriel Orta & Elad Zvi of The Broken Shaker, and “The Omli Marga-Jito” by Clay Conley of Buccan.
Event sponsors also include Antonini Modern Living, DJ Mad Linx, Joseph Aviv Fine Jewelry, and Bill Ussery Motors. All proceeds will benefit the Chapman Partnership, an organization whose goal it is to empower the homeless, while many attendees donated a non-perishable or canned good item on-site.
