The Raleigh’s Martini Bar has been a guest and locals favorite for decades, nearly untouched and carefully preserved since opening over 70 years ago. The intimate space including 8 seats at the mahogany bar with a few tables surrounding on the terrazzo floor offers a timeless atmosphere and perfect escape from the hectic pace of South Beach to enjoy a cocktail.
Every Tuesday from 7-9pm at the Raleigh Hotel’s Martini Bar “Martini Culture” invites a guest bartender each week to add an original martini of their own design to the martini bar list, inspired by the spirit of its storied past and the golden age of cocktails. Martini Bar’s resident bartender, Trevor Alberts, is also on hand to mix up selections from the martinis menu: The Candidate, Privilege, Crown Colony and Kremlin. Martinis range from $12 – $25 and a la carte snacks from the hotel’s new Restaurant Michael Schwartz are available.
On Tuesday, September 3rd, 2013 Joshua Gonzalez of Best Bartenders - mixology consultants, curated the night’s drink selection. The addition to the menu were two of his creations:
Carolina Kiss – classic moonshine, cinnamon syrup, vanilla essence, cherry spherification,
Bride’s Bouquet – Beefeater 24 , Mandarine Napoleon, lavender syrup, grapefruit juice, with edible orchid & honey caviar bud as garnish.
