SUSHISAMBA pays homage to its culinary heritage by hosting a lively celebration to mark Brazil’s Independence Day this weekend Friday, September 6 and Saturday, September 7, 2013. SUSHISAMBA locations in Miami Beach and Coral Gables will feature a spectacular evening of samba and capoeira, a 400-year-old Brazilian dance that incorporates martial arts with Carnaval-themed costumed dancers and a live Brazilian band. Performances will take place beginning at 9 p.m. each evening. Keeping in spirit with the Brazilian celebration, caipirinhas will be generously flowing, a traditional Brazilian cocktail made with Cachaça liquor, sugar and fresh-squeezed lime. To add to the celebration, SUSHISAMBA chefs will also feature several Brazilian specialty dishes.
