Constitution Day is a federal observance recognizing our countryâ€™s citizens as well as the day that the U.S. Constitutional Convention signed the Constitution in 1787. The observance also honors the rights and liberties granted and protected by the Constitution. Judges, elected officials, attorneys, war veterans and other prominent community leaders will read sections of the Constitution of the United States in celebration of Constitution Day 2013. 5:30 p.m. Cocktails and Networking till 6:30 p.m. Legal Services of Greater Miami, HistoryMiami and Higer Lichter & Givner will serve as hosts to the second-annual event.
