EDGE (Early Development of Global Education) a Miami-based charitable foundation impacting children in the United States, Haiti, India, Jamaica, Kenya, Madagascar, Nicaragua and Puerto Rico, in collaboration with the police officers of the Hispanic Police Officerâ€™s Association of Miami Dade, will host its first annual Casino Night on Saturday, October 5th, 2013, at the Sheraton Miami Airport Hotel. Hosted by mistress of ceremony Natalia Zea of CBS4, EDGEâ€™s Casino Night will raise funds specifically to benefit South Floridian children who are victims of human trafficking and domestic violence.
A colorful group of local celebrities, business professionals and community leaders will come together for a fun-filled evening including gaming, complimentary hand-rolled cigars from Cuban Crafter Cigars, hors dâ€™ oeuvres and delicious desserts from Gobsmack Sweets and Parties by Pat, a Starbucks coffee bar, and an open bar compliments of Premier Beverage Company. Priced at $50 per person, tickets include entrance, entertainment, food, cocktails and $5,000 in chips for friendly wagering. Tournaments and gaming include Poker, Texas Hold â€˜em, Caribbean Poker, Three Card Poker,Blackjack, Ladies Blackjack, Let It Ride and Two Big Wheels. Additional chips are available for purchase. Winnings have no cash value. Cocktail attire is requested. Individual tickets are $50.
