Miami’s 4th Annual LUCKYRICE Festival presented by Bombay Sapphire East and hosted by Iron Chef, Masaharu Morimoto and Michael Schwartz took place on Friday, November 15 at The Raleigh Pool and Oasis. In addition to the hosts, participating restaurants included Katsuya, Khong River House, Juvia, The Setai Grill, Hakkasan, the Bazaar by Jose Andres, SushiSamba and, the return of everyone’s favorite pop up, Phuc Yea! by The Federal. Guests came dressed in chili pepper red and ready for a spicy night of savoring bites and globally spirited cocktails from over 20 of Miami’s finest chefs and mixologists spilled out onto iconic Raleigh’s pool and the beachfront oasis.
LUCKYRICE Festival is celebration of edible and drinkable Asian culture, including authentic night market street food and creative chef-driven dining and cocktails. This year Asian-meets-Latin was be the directive for the festival’s bites, and 8 celebrated mixologists who created 16 different cocktails with Bombay Sapphire East, which is is infused with Asian botanicals, Vietnamese Black Peppercorns and Thai Lemongrass. Also served were Asahi Beer, Wines from Bordeaux, Champagne Nicholas Feuillatte and Bruce Cost ginger ales.
