The New World Symphony, America’s Orchestral Academy, will host its second “Yoga Night at the New World Symphony,” Saturday, November 9, 7:00 PM at the New World Center, in conjunction with lululemon athletica. The event will feature a 30-minute concert by the New World Symphony in the New World Center concert hall at 7:00 PM, and will be followed by a yoga class at 7:30 PM in the immersive environment of Miami Beach SoundScape, led by lululemon ambassadors and yoga instructors Paul Toliuszis, Christy Nones McKenzie and Jodi Carey. Yoga participants will enjoy video art by Liquid Vistas projected on the 7,000 square-foot wall of the New World Center and classical music from the park’s sound system.  Following the event, complimentary refreshments will be served to participants on the New World Center’s plaza. The program for the 7:00 PM concert will include J.S. Bach’s Suite No. 3, and will be guest-conducted by Seraphic Fire’s Patrick Quigley. The collaborative event is part of the New World Symphony’s mini-concerts series.  Another half-hour concert will take place inside the New World Center concert hall at 8:00 PM on Saturday, featuring Mozart’s Exultate, jubilate, conducted by Seraphic Fire’s Patrick Quigley. $2.50 tickets to “Yoga Night at the New World Symphony” are available are available online or by calling the New World Symphony box office at 305-673-3331.
