25th Annual Festival of Chefs will benefit Easter Seals South Florida, and special celebrity guest for the event will be Food Network’s host of “Simply Delicioso” Chef Ingrid Hoffmann, joined by Chef Chair John Richards, founding director of the Miami Culinary Institute at Miami Dade College, and event Chair Shelley Daniel Rutherford. The Festival of Chefs is one of South Florida’s longest-standing food and wine charity events, featuring the finest wines, courtesy of Southern Wine & Spirits, and dishes from Miami’s top restaurants. Browse the silent auction, featuring fine art, jewelry, fine wines and dining and travel packages, and bid lively for the live auction too. Proceeds from the auctions will benefit Easter Seals South Florida’s Culinary Arts High School, a vocational training program for students ages 16 through 22 with Autism and other disabilities. An hour before the main event opens, there will be a VIP “Meet the Chefs Reception” with Celebrity Chef Ingrid Hoffmann and John Richards. The reception will offer guests a sneak peek into the restaurants, chefs and auction items, and each person will receive a gift bag from the event sponsors. A limited number of VIP tickets are available. General admission tickets are $100 with entrance at 7:30 p.m, and VIP tickets are $150 starting one hour earlier. Additionally, there is a wide range of sponsorship opportunities available for Festival of Chefs. The mission of Easter Seals South Florida is to provide exceptional services to ensure that all children and adults with disabilities or special needs and their families have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in their communities. All Proceeds from the Festival of Chefs will benefit the Easter Seals South Florida’s Culinary Arts High School, a vocational training program for students ages 14-22 with Autism and other disabilities.
