Hard Rock Live, located at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, hosts the 31st Annual Fort Lauderdale International Film Festivalâ€™s opening night premiere of Dreamland and a post-screening reception for festival attendees. Robert Schwartzman, a member of the filmmaking Coppola clan, makes his feature film directorial debut with the bittersweet comedy mixed with fantasy and music that will remind you of the 1967 classic The Graduate. The festival continues through Sunday, Nov. 20 with celebrity guests and premieres of over 100 American Indie and International features, documentaries and short films.
Dreamland director and nephew of Francis Ford Coppola, Robert Schwartzman (also indie-rock band Rooneyâ€™s front man) and stars of the film Talia Shire (Rocky, Godfather I, II and III) who is Schwartzmanâ€™s mother. Beverly Dâ€™Angelo (National Lampoonâ€™s Vacation), Dreamlandâ€™s lead, Johnny Simmons (Perks of Being A Wallflower), and Robin Thomas (The Banger Sisters, The Contender).
Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival (FLiFF) is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to bringing premieres of American Independent and International films and introducing talent to Broward County as well as through outreach programs throughout Florida.
