The 8th Annual South Florida VisionWalk will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013. This is the Signature Fundraising Event for the Foundation Fighting Blindness. Funds raised will be used to fund sight-saving research for blinding retinal degenerative diseases like macular degeneration and retinitis pigmentosa. This is a free, family-friendly event with face painters, mascots, snacks, a bounce house, and other fun activities, which culminate in a 5k Walk to raise awareness for people affected with these debilitating illnesses.
