The Opa-locka Community Development Corporation (OLCDC) will host an evening dedicated to the historic past, present and bright future of the Opa-locka community. Philanthropist Tracey Wilson-Mourning will be hosting this festive evening celebrating Opa-locka. Guests will be treated to live painting, pop-up performances by multidisciplinary artists, a special preview exhibit by renowned New York-based photographer Hunter Barnes (presenting portraits from his recent residency in Opa-locka), and an architectural installation by Germane Barnes. American hip-hop duo Black Violin will perform an eclectic mix of Jazz, hip-hop, funk, and blue grass with Kev Marcus on his violin and Wil B on his viola. Tickets are $75 per person.
