Belen JesuitÂ celebrated 160 years of education, and in honor of this milestone the theme for annual gala was, â€˜Diamonds are Forever.â€™ The Gala was held in the historic Alfred I. Dupont Building, in Downtown Miami, and it was an evening of food and music for the good cause of providing quality education and financial assistance to talented students.Â Attendees were greeted by students in their uniforms, and the historic building was decorated with blue and white lights. The huge windows and marble floors were beautiful backdrop for a the event and a silent auction. CNN Latino Miami Anchor, Maria Elvira Salazar was the emcee and guests enjoyed live music by the Chirino Sisters,Â while cocktails and food stations were serving shrimp, curried chicken and lamb carving stations.

Each year, 30% of our students receive financial assistance. Almost $1.8 million was awarded to those students whose families demonstrated financial need.Â Belen Jesuit develops young men to become respectful, loving, compassionate, competent, religious and generous, with a desire to build a better world community.Â The proceeds from the Gala will benefit the Belen Jesuit Scholarship Fund.
