Miami Reggae Festival expresses the hopes and dreams of a world in which what we have in common is far greater than that which divides us. Through the Festival, they live not by looking at each other but by looking together in the same direction. Music has always had the power to unite and inspire humanitarianism. Rockers Movement aids Dade County residents living in poverty. $45 admission. Entry is FREE before 3 p.m. with minimum 2 cans food donation. Miami Reggae Festival brings together music from around the world artists performing: Stephen “Ragga” Marley, Tiken Jah Fakoly, Cultura Profética, Natiruts, Midnite, Gondwana, Black Slate, Carroll Thompson, Causion and Bachaco. Village of fine arts, food, AEROGA, bike valet, social consciousness workshops, composting, workshops with interactive and educational games for kids about recycling, reusing and reducing, live art, networking platform for green enthusiasts and environmental non-profits.
