Kiwanis Club of Little Havana, BMW and Bacardi host 38th annual event featuring performance by Chirino, Lisa Lisa and People You Know band plus open bar and restaurant dinner stations.Â The Florida District of Kiwanis International sought to organize a Kiwanis Club that would develop projects to benefit the growing Hispanic population in Miami.Â In 1975, the Little Havana Chapter of Kiwanis was formed by 25 friends who shared a common bond and interest.Â From its beginnings, the Club, composed mainly of Cuban-Americans, were committed to the community.Â It is the oldest, Latin, continuous-meeting Club in the United States. Individual tickets are $100.
