One of the leaders and pioneers of the Miami Design District art gallery scene is revealing his plans for the art worldâ€™s biggest show of the year in Miami, Art Basel Week Miami 2013. Bernard Markowicz, owner of Markowicz Fine Art gallery, located at 114 Northeast 40th Street in Miami, will host a series of three private events, and a public art installation in the heart of the Miami Design District and South Beach.Â Bernard Markowicz is known as the godfather of French artists in South Florida, as his galleryâ€™s portfolio is made up of about half French artists. Every year Markowicz is a consistent presence during Art Basel Week by hosting opening exhibitions of great artists. This year is no exception as he will showcase the works of Idan Zareski, Phil Macquet and Richard Orlinski during private opening events .
