Preston Singletary has studied the art of glass blowing by working with artists in the Seattle area as well as studying the techniques of European traditions. Complimentary Champagne Brunch is at 10 a.m., at Lowe Art Museum and Lecture is at Noon, in the Storer Auditorium, UM School of Business (adjacent to the museum). Singletary’s work is included in collections such as The British Museum, London; The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; The Seattle Art Museum; the Corning Museum of Glass, Corning, New York; and the National Museum of the American Indian, Washington D.C.
