The 32nd edition of the satirical parade will invade downtown Coconut Grove on December 29, 2013. What started out in 1982 as an uprising of rejected kazzooists from the King Orange Bowl Parade has grown into the wackiest event in South Florida – not counting special elections, recalls, UFOs or boat-jumping-man-eating Houndfish sightings. The King Mango Strut Parade is South Florida’s Premiere event for unrestrained parody in the sun without any sunscreen required. It’s mucho mango irreverence, filled with twitterlicious satire and skits that makes fun of everything and anything… including itself! There is no better place for the Strut than in Miami. It provides more material than can be used in one parade. As creative as we are, even we couldn’t come up with some of this stuff. All this entertainment is free and open to the public. For additional information email firstname.lastname@example.org or call The Mango Hotline at 305-401-1171.
