Palette Miami Festival

Palette Miami FestivalSaturday, February 8, 3pm-9pm - Palette Miami Festival, 5700 Biscayne Blvd., Miami

The inaugural Palette Miami Festival, which celebrates an extraordinary community, will be held on February 8, 2014. For all those looking to have a great time while commemorating their city, culture, flavors, and much more, Palette Miami is not to be missed. The festival, to be held on a large, grassy lot at 5700 Biscayne Blvd., will feature delicious food from the best local restaurants in Miami, for only $3 a plate. VIP guests will enjoy extraordinary pork roast and paella. All festivalgoers will sample beers from Miami’s own Wynwood Brewing Company and Hiro Sake.
Palette Miami will also present local working artists; a fun and bright Kids Corner featuring face-painters, balloon sculptors, popcorn, and cotton candy; and live music by Pelvis, Birdman’s Clambake, Jay Blue Band, and Cover Band U2 by UV.
Additional entertainment will include Tarot readers, a caricature artist, Polynesian dancers, street performers, acroyoga acrobatics, Papa John’s Pizza Dough Tossing Contest, and a raffle benefiting the Boys and Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade.
The wide range of food and beverages will be provided by well-known restaurants and bars along the Biscayne Corridor, from Mediterranean to Mexican to Japanese to Italian.
They include Pride and Joy Barbecue, the District, Mina’s Mediterraneo, Barú Urbano, Bar Louie, Machiya, Fish Fish Restaurant, Bar and Market, Obba Sushi Bar, Papa John’s Pizza, Cinebistro, Lime Fresh Mexican Grill, Raja’s Indian Cuisine, Pizza Pazza, Go To Sushi, 3 Chef’s Chinese Restaurant, Andiamo Brick Oven Pizza, Lost & Found Saloon, I Love Pizza, Dogma, Latin Café 2000, Giraffas, and Alaska Coffee Roasting Company.
Palette Miami’s media sponsor is Biscayne Times. Rums of Puerto Rico, Marlin’s, Hiro Sake, Car 2 Go, Wynwood Brewing Company, Samuel Adams Boston Lager, and Aloha Hula are the sponsorship partners.
All those attending the event will be able to visit and shop at from local vendors: Navarro Discount Pharmacy, Miami Vapors, 4 Paws Only, Pet Mode Grooming, Bethany M. Jewelry Design, Berber Trading Company, Trio Yoga Studio, and Dade Recycling.
Because this event is principally about the Miami community, charity will play a significant role. Thus Palette Miami Festival will make a direct donation and 100% of all raffle ticket proceeds will go to Boys and Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade. Since 1940, these clubs have been helping children and teenagers by providing them with the necessary resources to succeed in life.
In addition, the Palette Miami Festival offers volunteering opportunities to those who’d like to be involved in this positive event and give something back to their community. #palettemiamifestival
