In the West African tradition of the Griot, Fight for 15 Workers, The Dream Defenders, SEIU Florida, and Power U, and the New Florida Majority alongside community members bring you a night of story telling and remembering the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. April 4, 2017 will mark the 49th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. King. Speakers from diverse ages and backgrounds will speak about their perspective of the legacy of Dr. King as it connects to past, present, and future fights around labor, economic, immigrant, and racial justice.
