Miami-based Karen Peterson and Dancers will feature choreography created by dance artists with and without disabilities. The dancers collaborate, research and integrate their personal movement styles, creating “mixed ability” dance through improvisation. The troupe acts as a positive role model for the disability community, offering new visual inspiration for traditional dance audiences and providing benefits of movement to children with disabilities. Tickets for the Pinecrest Gardens performance at the door door are $10 for students, and seniors, and $15 general admission, which includes Sunday reception.
