Acqualina Resort & Spa and Joseph Phelps Vineyards will host an exclusive “Evening Under the Stars”. Known for its exceptional wines, the Napa Valley-based vineyard is considered the creator of one of the world’s great wines with their 2002 vintage of Insignia receiving the award for “Wine of the Year†by Wine Spectator magazine. The evening, which coincides with the closing of the Food Network South Beach Wine and Food Festival, begins with a welcome reception, followed by a four-course dinner created by celebrity chef Dewey LoSasso. Each course will be perfectly paired with an estate-grown wine from Joseph Phelps Vineyards. Both Chef LoSasso and Joseph Phelps Vineyards National Sales Manager KK Dirickson will be on hand to explain each course and its accompanying wine. There will also be a special presentation from Steve Gasman of Coravin, a unique device that allows wine to be poured from a bottle without removing the cork. Coravin prevents oxidation and allows wine to be poured from the same bottle on multiple occasions. Pricing is $175 per person, exclusive of tax and service charge. For dinner reservations, please call 305-918-6860.
