JUMBEY features local and international visual artists from a variety of mediums.Â “JUMBEY” is a Bahamian term that means Spirits and the exhibition will feature two popular artists from the Bahamas, Linx FoEver and Kourtney Eugene Brown. JUMBEY opened on Thursday, February 6, 2014, and the community was invited to attend and enjoy fine art, Caribbean hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, and live entertainment. Through the month, JUMBEY hosted activities including youth performances, weekly educational classes for children and adults, special guest artists, and more. The receptions and activities are free to the public.
