Friends of New World Symphony, the young patrons group supporting America’s Orchestral Academy, hosts its fourth Symphony After Hours event of the season at the new Vagabond Hotel. The After Hours soirée follows the New World Symphony’s Expressing the Inexpressible: Richard Strauss and the Tone Poem at the New World Center. The concert is part of the Encounters series, special one-hour presentations that include narration and video designed to guide listeners in their experience of the music. Symphony After Hours, presented by Metro1 at the Vagabond Hotel, begins at 9:00 PM and will include light fare provided by neighborhood restaurants: NIDO, Big Fish, Mina’s, Sugarbelle,Via Verdi and La Tour Eiffel, as well as complimentary cocktails from GREY GOOSE Vodka. Additionally, the event will feature special guests from the American Institute of Graphic Arts, as well as a performance by The Mystery Tones.
