The 12th Annual Young Artistsâ€™ Gallery exhibition and sale will take place March 14-16 with a free preview opening partyÂ from 6pm-8pm on March 14th. Sponsored by the Womanâ€™s Club of Coconut Grove and held in their historic landmark clubhouse, the exhibition will continue Saturday and Sunday from 12pm-5pm.Â The art is the work of students in Miami-Dade Public High Schools. The Womanâ€™s Club will give $5000 in scholarships and Merit Awards to students selected by Show Judge, Carol Damian, Director of the Philip and Patricia Frost Art Museum at Florida International University. Scholarship sponsors include the Korth Family Foundation, the Coconut Grove Bank and the Pippo Family. Individual members of the Club have provided funds for Merit Awards and teacher honoraria.Â The Young Artistsâ€™ Gallery is part of the ongoing community service that has been the hallmark of the Womanâ€™s Club of Coconut Grove since 1891, making it the oldest civic organization in the County.
