Irene Moore is a free-lance journalist who specializes in writing about food, wine, and luxury travel. Irene has written several restaurant guides, and has contributed articles to dozens of magazines and guidebooks. She is formerly a columnist at W magazine in New York and contributing writer at Women’s Wear Daily. She was editor-in-chief for 10 years of Where Magazines and Where GuestBooks, tourism guides about many Florida locales. Irene is now organizing specialized in-depth food and wine experiences in the Mediterranean region for an exclusive clientele. She has an MBA From Fordham’s Gabelli School of Business in New York City, and a Mastery of Wine Certification from Florida International University’s Chaplain School of Hospitality. She’s a member of Les Dames d’Escoffier International, an international organization of women leaders who work to achieve excellence in the food, beverage and hospitality professions, and is President and co-founder of their South Florida chapter. Irene is a contributing writer to the SOMM Journal, a Fellow in the Symposium for Professional Wine Writers at Meadowood Napa Valley and a member of the International Travel Writers and Photographers Alliance (ITWPA).
