Miami Premiere of the HBO "The Latino List"Tuesday, September 20, 7pm – The Colony Theatre, 1040 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach

The Miami premiere of the “The Latino List” on Tuesday, September 20th at the Colony Theatre is presented by HBO, HBO Latino and AT&T in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
Directed by Award Winning Photographer, Filmmaker, and Miami Native Timothy Greenfield-Sanders, Film Presents Living Portraits of Prominent Latinos in the U.S. Including Miami area notables Gloria and Emilio Estefan and Pitbull. The HBO Documentary Films presentation THE LATINO LIST provides a unique glimpse into the vibrant and burgeoning culture of Hispanic America through a series of highly personal video portraits of Latinos who have richly contributed to the fabric of contemporary society. Directed by Timothy Greenfield-Sanders (HBO’s “The Black List”), the film spotlights Latinos from a variety of backgrounds, including Cuban, Colombian, Honduran, Mexican, and Puerto Rican, and each subject has a different perspective on his or her American success story, which often started from a strong family background.

Book Presentation by author Charles Kropke moderated by Journalist Veronika Pozmentier with a book signing session in English. Free admission   The comeback of South Beach in Miami Beach is one of the most interesting urban and cultural revivals of a city in modern American History.
